Summers in Bimini Bahamas

Rumors of a Sizzling Summer….False!

July and August have often been the most avoided months to travel or go on vacation– what a mistake!  When the rest of the United States is stuck running their air-conditioning 24/7 with temperatures hovering above the nineties, it is time to head to paradise at Resorts World Bimini.

Summers in Bimini only reach around 82˚F.  This season surprisingly offers breezy mornings due to the trade winds and a lot of fun-in-the-sun long days without getting burnt to a crisp. People have been making this mistake for years – but now that you know the secret, avoid the crowds and enjoy the savings. Travel and accommodation costs often drop during the summer season making scheduling a summer vacation in Bimini a no-brainer.

You can also look forward to the Junkanoo Summer Festival in July, one of the many festivals of this Bahamian culture-rich island destination. The festival is a street parade which originates from the ethnic population “Akan” in Ghana and Ivory Coast in Africa. Once a year at the beginning of the summer, the capital of the Nassau Islands holds the Junkanoo Summer Festival. The festival, which usually takes place on Saturdays in July, celebrates the unique traditions and culture of the Bahamas.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the vibrant carnival by dressing up and experiencing the sights and sounds on the streets.  We can’t wait to party with you, Bahamian-style!
